 Effective development depends on self-awareness of one’s strengths and opportunities. It is a combination of knowing, “how do I see myself” and “how do others see me,” that people can begin to work on the behavioral competencies identified as important to succeed in the organization and achieve career goals.

Team assessments are used to focus an in-tact team or workgroup on their strengths and needs in context of their environment, skills and desired results.

CUSTOMIZED ASSESSMENT OFFERINGS

Assessments are used in a variety of ways to advance leadership development initiatives. Often, after key competencies are identified in an organization, a next step is to assess individual against those standards to identify strengths and gaps for development. 


Individual leadership assessment tools may also be used in the context of high potential development programs to fast-track leaders on specific skills that can accelerate leaders in their careers. Assessments are also a first step in many coaching engagements to identify potential focus areas for development.


Team assessments can be used to build new teams, foster better communication or leverage complimentary team member skills. They can also be helpful in identifying awareness behind pain points in working together with tools for improving the dynamic.


At leadership variations our assessment solutions are psychometrically sound, based upon specialized training and certifications and customized to your organization’s needs.  We use a variety of instruments including but not limited to:


  • Hogan/ MBTI/ Korn Ferry 360/ KF Leadership Architect/ Caliper and other personality tests and 360-degree feedback tools to build leadership competencies
  • The Team Assessment Survey
